Added intro slides v1

Most of our merge requests will be for the internal repo and will be held until after our class has ended to ensure we incorporate all the changes/fixes noted during the class.

I would like to get this one pushed before the class starts because students often ask for a copy of these slides. Students will clone the public repo on the first day.
