What is USMA SIGSAC?

-We are a group at the United States Military Academy interested in computer security. SIGSAC is an acronym for "Special Interest Group for Security, Audit, and Control."

What does SIGSAC do?

-If it has to do with security, we have cadets interested in it. A typical semester will have lessons on topics ranging from programming to assembly to even lock picking. We also host a number of guest speakers, sponsor trip sections, and compete in Capture the Flag competitions.

I'm a cadet...how can I get involved?

-Prior experience is not requred to get involved in the club. Instead, we prefer curiosity, creativity, and the desire to learn. If you would like to be put on our distro, send an email to with your cadet email address.

What is the "Competitive Cyber Team" and how do I get involved?

Tryouts for the AY14 year will take place in the end of august. If you are interested in trying out, send an email to jianmin. It is also recommended that you hop on IRC and introduce yourself so we know who you are.
